Race #3 in the Euroserie: Mantorp park, Sweden, at an event called the Drag Revival.

Just five topgassers on the entree list for Mantorp park, the legendary race track in Sweden. Unfortunately, the rig Of Bigdog Godske broke down, half way there, and they decided to return home.
Luckily Anders Jensson and his team showed up instead, to save the Danish honour and help make an eight field race possible for the upcoming sunday. Anders and his team had repaired the damage they suffered at Tierp, the month before, and were ready to battle again with their home made blown Harley.

Jan Malmberg is the owner and racer of the other supercharged bike, present in our class at Mantorp. His personal best was set at Hoskovice in Cz in 2018, not on prepped asphalt track but genuine Soviet airfield quality concrete. He is trying to figure it out, again, after he removed one of the two blowers. His credentials show huge fluctuations from year to year. He will work it out. No compression at the rear cylinder was the cause that Jan left the track early. Like Schwarzenegger said: "I'll be back".

His friend Mats Larsson had decided to use his top fuel twin at Mantorp, and had entered the Nitro Bike Class.

Rikard Gustavsson was the favorite in that class, but the weekend was full of surprises.

Both Swiss topgassers were present again, A giant on a home made bike, and a jockey type guy on a Buell. Martin Buehler uses a turbo on the big bike, based on Otto Bauer's Godden. Olaf Menzi was riding the "Bumble Bee", but also owns the iconic Ogge-buell G2. Menzi just used one chance to qualify, while Bueler skipped just a few.

The gearbox of the Buells are very sensitive, and Ulf had time enough to check it thoroughly.

Team Bueler had to wrench a bit between the attemps to qualify the best they could, but their gearbox was not the problem, it's a bullet proof Bentec.

Joerg Lymant's team was the last topgas team to arrive in the pits, that was situated on the north side of the line up area, conveniently close to the startline. Joerg's bike did not make the power that it usually does, and his qualifying runs were disappointing.

But team lymant found the problem on saturday evening, so on sunday morning, during the last qualification round, he set things straight, and qualified as the #1. A faulty lambda was the cause of it all. A narrow escape.

Anders Jensen was able to beat Martin Buehler in the first round.
And Jan Malmberg beat Olaf Menzi. Jan also got the bye run in the semi finals.

Joerg Lymant produced a string of 7.4's and won the race.

Joerg Lymant firmly hold the lead in the 2022 championship, but there are still two races left. The Nitrolympx and Mosten Race day, back to back.

Jan Malmberg is at place #2, but will be absent at the next race, so Martin Buehler could close the gap, there, as he is at place #3 after this event.

The biggest sensation that weekend was caused by Per Bengtsson. After a long absence from active racing, because of heath reasons, the owner of the Beast is back in the saddle, and strong like nothing has happened.

Per beat Mr Ström on his top fuel bike in a great side by side run, on reaction time, in the semis, and secured lane choise in the finals, where he beat Rikard Gustavsson in the same fashion. Not just on reaction, but also with a better E.T.
