Welcome to the Euroserie Supertwin Top gas homepage.
Congratulations to our 2013, 2014 and 2015 champion:
Frederik Kirkhoff Schack from Denmark.
Newsflash: Race #2 at Drachten is cancelled!!!
Team Oakland Orange Racing had plans to attend the the first race of the 2016 season untill this happened:
Oakland Orange Racing Team North Germany D I E B S T A H L !!!!!!
More about the theft of their bikes...
Season's opener: Malmö, Sweden.
Because of the absence of team Orange County, only five teams attended the race at the fast 1/8 mile track in Malmö.
Bernd Foit and Jörg Lymant from Germany, who both had many problems during the end of last season, now had a running bike, and qualified third and fourth. Defending tripple champion Frederik Schack and last year's runner up Birch Andersen from Denmark live close to the track and were the favorites. Birch had already gone to Mosten for test and tune, but a broken starter prevented him from testing the new engine. Then Birch had traveled to Antwerp, Belgium to buy one of Chris van Nimmen, who had a spare. A personal best 60-foot was the reward for Bohn&Birch during the qualifications.

A fantastic sharp reaction for Frederik who came close to his pesonal best. And Big problems for team Jensen and their experimental bike
.Five riders is enough for an 8-field, but the organisation decided on a 4-field race because of bad weather predictions and time presure. The semi finals were held on saturday late afternoon. Birch Best Foit, then Schack had a bumpy ride, as he broke a tube in wheelybar, but he beat Lymant and was still the quickest rider in the semi's. Team schack had the damage fixed before Sunday to win the race.
Jesse got the honor and get the trophy for second place this time.
Next race at the airfield of Drachten in the Netherlands got cancelled, the field around the airstrip is too wet.
Championship points after race #1:
Schack 605, Birch 470, Foit 360, Lymant 350, Jensen 340.

The 2016 season could well become the biggest and hardest battle in the history of the class as 22 riders attended the meeting, a few more will join in later, and we will probably see 16-field races in the summer in Drachten, as a warming-up for the climax of the season, the Nitrolympx and Mosten Race Days.
A big welcome to our many new members! Maik Kruger, Ole Schleichert and John Hanssen, they are the three riders of team Oakland Orange from the North of Germany. Bernd Foit's son Malte also joined the club. Mathias Bruun is a young rider from Denmark and gets help from team Schack. Dirk Waterschoot from Belgium used to be Marc van den Boer's mechanic, but is now building his own ride. Martin Bühler from Switserland has plans to do many races this season, although he still has much work to do. Jörg Lymant joined in and will race his blown 4-valve Harley.
And back in the class after racing with the "Funnies" for a few years is our old friend Marc van den Boer (below).
Unfortunaletly we had to say goodbye to team Full Throttle of Harry van Schie and Jaap Duijn after sixteen years. Their dragbike is for now sale, but we will see them at Drachten where they will race with Harry's son Jan in the Junior Bike class.
So we'll start off where we ended the season last year, in the back yard of defending champion Frederik Schack, at the 1/8 mile track of Malmö raceway. Schack set a new 1/8 mile record there during the finals, so he's clearly the man to beat in 2016.
Malmö is also close to the home of Lars "Birch" Andersen, who has upgraded the Harley dragbike with a stonger engine, and is ready and motivated to give good competition. Jan Malmberg from Sweden was going fast again last septembers, so some fireworks can be expected from them in Malmö too.
See you all there.
