Mosten Race Day 2013, part two:

Harry van Schie's son made third place in the Junior Bike class, and was a bit late to pick up his award.

"Sideburns" Christian Bruhn, team mate of Peter Niklas, was competing in the supercompbike class on his NOS-assisted Ducati 999.

The150 volt Electic bike of the "Two Cousins" from Denmark was quicker then Bruhn,

and so were three Japanese 4 cylinder bikes.

Dirk Lange from Germany took the biggest SCB trophee home.

Jesper Johanson was the quickest in the SuperStreetBike class.

He did 5.06 and 234 kmh.

In ProTwin class Marcus Christiansen was the most succesfull.

5.488 sec @ 207 Kmh was his best result, ran in round three.

Marc van den Boer from Belgium had repaired the damaged he got at Vandel, and was ready to rumble in the Funny bike/Prostock class on his methanol injected blown Harley.

A great launch and a 1.1 sixty foot for Marc, but the prime belt was scraped bare at about 150 meters off the line. And that happened every time he tried.

Still his effort was enough to make third place. Maarten Zijlstra from Amsterdam did a 4.9 and a 4.8 and made second place, and riding lessons were given by Fredrick Fredlund from Finland:

4.5 seconds on friday evening and a quicker 4.522 sec @ 246 kmh on saturday afternoon.

Eric Nielsen from Denmark suffered from a fire at the startline on friday at noon, but it was put out very rapidly:

And then the next day, Erik produced a much bigger fireball, a loud bang and damage to the rear cylinder head:

Ten minutes later it was Svein Olav Rolfstad from Norway who threw a fire:

Samu Kempainnen from Finland was one of the favorites, but he could not get the horses on the track. Here is Samu in round #3:

Hans Olav Olstad from Norway rides a Puma parallel twin, that's almost 500 kg heavy.

4.37 seconds put him on top of the list on friday:

and Hans Olav produced a great 4.31 on saturday while working hard steering the bike and fishtailing all the way.

With 287 Kmh he was the fastest of all bikes.

There were only four bikes competing in the Topfuel Bike class, and just like the last few years, Ricard Gustavsson from Sweden was the favourite for the crown. Fin Asserbo's bike did not run well and Sverre Dahl smoked his rear tyre a few times.

On saterday afternoon, all worked well for Jan Sturla Hegre from Rolfstad's Norwegian team. A great pass, and 4.27 and 276 kmh, that put a big smile on his face for the rest of the day.

Gustavsson had already gone quicker,

and saved his best shot for the last round.

David Pertué ran his jet car and his rocket car, and Stig Neergaard's team ran a few cars. On saturday afternoon, Stig sharpened the track record with his top fuel dragster.

And on saturday evening, Ricard was again crowned to King of Mosten.
